In Case You Couldn't Make It: David Byrne & St. Vincent at OCPA

Alright ruhtf reader...I've been making promises, but now I have reason to follow through. I have a stockpile of old stuff that I've been meaning to put up… Now I found a drive that contains an abundance of material needing to be shared. It is the equivalent of finding an old box from your childhood that you long thought was missing. First, let me clear up the old stuff that I have been having to put up. David Byrne and St. Vincent played Orange County Performing Arts Center. It was a totally unexpected phenomenal performance and I have it all captured here for you to hear. They were touring behind their brilliant new album, but for those who don't like change skip to the end for the familiar Talking Heads material.

Adam Ant @ The Grove October 20, 2012

Wow… It appears it is been a long time since I have posted anything here. I have been collecting some things so I will put them out in spurts. First up is the triumphant return of Adam Ant. This was a highly anticipated show and was a clear sellout. Surprisingly, he did not go for the for the "sure thing" hit songs and played a lot of early, more "punk" songs. You could tell the audience was hardcore because they were not disappointed. I was a bit worried that there would be some kind of erratic behavior as has been reported on in the past, but there was none of that. He did not have much interaction with the audience if anything at all, however. He had a job to do, and he did it well.… Reestablishing himself as a potent musical force. Apparently the tour last year went well because he's coming back for a second round this year. Get a taste of what you can expect below:

This is kind of an awkward post. I had intended to post a capture I made of the concert at DiPiazzas in 2010, but it slipped by. This was supposed to be a preview of the Detroit Bar show last week. so, without further delay, here is the 2010 show which will be followed by the 2012 show at Detroit Bar.

Well...it's missing the first two songs or so cause I didn't start till Terry leaned over and said "Are you recording this??"..but here is most of their Irvine Verizon Wireless performance. they played for almost 2 1/2 hours..and the recording sounds real nice. Pretty cool:
