Three O' Clock pre-Coachella reunion at the Glass House

One of the most surprising announcements for last year's Coachella was the reunion of Paisley Underground leaders, The Three O' Clock. Though they are little known, they have a storied past, not the least of being managed by a pre-Nirvana John Silva. Somewhere I have an interview I did with them, but in the meanwhile, here is the pre-Coachella reunion.

Three O' Clock were a favorite of mine from high school, opening my eyes and exposing my mind to world of new, unheard music. Their music sounds as good today as it did yesterday, as it did the yesteryear's music it was inspired by.

Jonesy's ipod: Rat Scabies of the Damned

The Damned are playing House of Blues this evening, so to honor that I give you (even though he won't be playing with them) Rat Scabies. This is the show that Jonesy had an audience with him. Even though I have hundreds of shows captured, this is the only one I can find right now featuring a member of The Damned. Supposedly, Captain Sensible was a guest in 2004, but I do not think I had been capturing them at that time. For the time being, enjoy this:

when you're done with that, check out this broadcast of Henry Rollins digging deep into the Black Album: Henry Rollins on The Black Album

In Case You Couldn't Make It: David Byrne & St. Vincent at OCPA

Alright ruhtf reader...I've been making promises, but now I have reason to follow through. I have a stockpile of old stuff that I've been meaning to put up… Now I found a drive that contains an abundance of material needing to be shared. It is the equivalent of finding an old box from your childhood that you long thought was missing. First, let me clear up the old stuff that I have been having to put up. David Byrne and St. Vincent played Orange County Performing Arts Center. It was a totally unexpected phenomenal performance and I have it all captured here for you to hear. They were touring behind their brilliant new album, but for those who don't like change skip to the end for the familiar Talking Heads material.
