World Party at Fingerprints Record Store Day 4/21/12

My capture of the Tower Records in-store in 2006 (click here) has become a well-regarded artifact of that in-store tour, and this latest one builds on that. Promoting his excellent new multi-disk box set, Arkaeology, Karl Wallinger brought his band World Party to the awesome record store Fingerprints for Record Store Day for an intimate performance. Karl was engaging, funny, quick-witted, and a generally all-around great host. Having met him at the 2006 performance, he graciously came out before the show to say a quick "hello". "What Does It Mean Now", though on the setlist, was exised from the show. In case you weren't one of the lucky ones, I have edited the show and placed the videos here. Embedding videos in a blog from Youtube does not allow the full video, so double click each video to enjoy at full screen. If you're dying for a DVD, email me for information.
