This is the Flaming Lips show at the Orange County fair. Anyone who has been to a Flaming Lips show knows that any show is the most exuberant experience you will have. This show was no exception. The tour has been a bit toned down, but in Lips terms, that just means there were no balloons or beach balls. Everything else was in presence, including an abundance of good vibes.
For you, I have captured the concert in all its glory. Somewhere in the middle of the show, they did a cover of Devo's "Gates of Steel" which I've isolated for those who are impatient. For all the rest, if you are listening to this in the office, for the full Lips experience, have one of your office mates continually flip the lights on and off while your other office mates throw whatever is in the shredder receptacle into the air... And heck… If you have a cool boss, light the trash and let the smoke fill the room.The full show:
